A few everyday habits go a long way toward keeping a good hat looking right.
General hat care tips. For anything beyond these, reach out and ask.
IHandle it by the brim
Pick your hat up by the front and back of the brim instead of the pinch. Grabbing the crown over and over wears down the shape where you hold it.
IIRest it upside down
Set it on its crown or hang it on a hat rack, so the brim is not carrying the weight and keeps its shape.
IIILet it dry on its own
If it gets wet, let it air-dry at room temperature with the sweatband turned out. Keep it away from heaters, hair dryers and direct sun.
IVKeep it out of a hot car
Heat can shrink the sweatband and pull the hat out of shape. Do not leave it on the dashboard or in the back window.
VBrush felt regularly
A soft hat brush lifts dust before it settles in. Work in gentle strokes around the hat, counterclockwise.
